Each neighborhood has different characteristics. The Savannah Victorian Historic District features Late Victorian-era homes and Queen Anne style as well as other architectural styles. Downtown Savannah has charming cobblestone roads and 13 park squares that you can sit and relax in. It also features Forsyth Park which spans 30 acres and has an outdoor amphitheater for events like the Savannah Jazz Festival or family movie nights. The Savannah Ardsley Park area in midtown has wood frame houses from the late 19th and 20th Century revival with some American movement and late Victorian homes scattered throughout the area.

Southside Savannah has The Landing at Skidway Island, Wormsloe Historic Site, and Skidaway State Park. The architecture can vary depending upon which subdivision you visit and can range from craftsman bungalows to contemporary-style homes.
